Let's go to Asinara National Park the last unspoilt Heaven

Comfortably seated on board the tourist train, you can admire the beauty of the island and its unspoilt nature, marvelling at the characteristic landscape composed of flora, fauna and crystal clear waters.

Our tour begins at 10:00 a.m. aboard the M/N Gabbiano, departing from the Stintino marina and taking about 20 minutes to reach the Fornelli pier, located in the south of the island.

Once we disembark on the island, we board a charming and welcoming tourist train that will accompany us throughout the day as we admire the island’s natural beauty, accompanied by our guides. During the long journey from Fornelli to Cala D’Oliva, at the northern tip, we will immerse ourselves in unspoilt nature, where we may encounter the famous white donkey, wild boars, horses, wild goats and, if we are lucky, mouflons. We will make several stops to admire the sites of greatest historical and natural interest: the Cala Sant’Andrea viewpoint, Tumbarino, Punta Sa Nave, where the Centaura horrida, a species endemic to the island of Asinara and Sardinia, grows, the Austro-Hungarian ossuary, Campu Perdu, Cala Reale, Trabuccato, Cala d’Oliva (where we can visit the central branch with its museum of memory). During the day, we will stop several times to dive into the crystal clear waters, with two stops for swimming: one in the morning and one in the afternoon after visiting the prison in Cala, in various coves on the island, which may vary depending on sea and weather conditions (Cala dell’Ossario, Cala di Trabuccatto, Cala dell’Inglesi, Cala di Campu Perdu, Piattaforma Stagno Lungo).

On board the Motonave Gabbiano, moored at lunchtime at the Cala Reale pier, we offer a hearty first course with a sauce made from our sea’s produce, drinks not included.

After lunch, we set off again towards the small village of Cala d’Oliva, where we will visit the central branch with several exhibitions inside. On the way back from Cala D’Oliva, we will stop for a second swim. Our trip ends with our return to Stintino.

RETURN TIME FROM FORNELLI: APRIL AND MAY AND FROM 15TH SEPTEMBER TO 31ST OCTOBER AT 5:00 PM.

RETURN TIME FROM FORNELLI: JUNE-JULY-AUGUST UNTIL 15TH SEPTEMBER AT 5:30 PM.

N.B. The price of the guided tour does not include the landing tax. Until 30 May and from 1 October to 31 December, the contribution will be €2.50. From 1 June to 30 September, it will be €5. PAYMENT OF THE LANDING TAX IN CASH ONLY ON THE DAY OF THE EXCURSION BEFORE DEPARTURE.

The price includes: return crossing from Stintino to Fornelli, guided tour on the green train from Fornelli to Cala D’Oliva (52 km in total), and exclusive park guide.

N.B. Lunch on board is provided by the crew (pasta with sauce made from our sea products) and is included in the cost of the excursion. (For other dietary requirements, we are unable to cater, so we recommend that you bring your own lunch).

The booking must be accepted by the operator with the exact number of participants. No cancellations are accepted on the day of the guided tour. The meeting point at the port is half an hour before departure time (check-in from 09:00, boarding at 09:30).

In the event of adverse weather conditions, the captain may decide not to go ahead with the excursion or to return early.
